I used to call these little ditties ‘Dadisms’ – but most of them I find myself saying… just like my Mum…

• ‘If I had a dollar for every time **insert something here** – I’d be RICH’
• ‘Do you think I was born yesterday?’
• ‘I don’t THINK so’
• ‘You can, but you may not’
• ‘Don’t you make me stop this car…..’
• “When you grow up, I hope you have a child just like YOU’
• ‘Get your elbows OFF the table’
• ‘Use your knife and fork!’
• ‘My house, my rules’
• ‘A little dirt never hurt anyone’
• ‘Stop that crying or I’ll give you something to cry about’ – I use this – often lol
• ‘I’m just resting my eyes’
• ‘Wipe that smile off your face!’
