I think I have managed to step away from the toilet bowl long enough to write a blog finally.

I’m not quite sure what to think of this pregnancy. I think my body has just given up and is just letting it take hold with full force. I can’t remember having morning sickness this badly with any of my others. Oh and my bump is huge. I don’t just mean you can see it I mean I look 6 months and I’m only 11 weeks!

My hormones are raging and I’m sure my children have taken up extra afternoon activities to avoid me ha-ha. My DP just gets lost in video game land and nods occasionally. He is learning well.

We lost just about all our baby gear in the floods so I have taken this as an opportunity to bargain shop. I am challenging myself to see how cheaply I can set up a nursery. I must say I’m feeling pretty proud of myself so far.

Now I know “The Bump” as we affectionately call it will be born in winter. As it is coming into summer all the shops are clearing out winter clothes. I found newborn tracksuit pants and tops at Kmart for $2. Oh and the cutest little pre-walker shoes for the same price. Yes really $2!

The local chemist had a whole heap of nappy packets that had faded from the sun so they were half price at $4 so I grabbed a few packets of those too. However my biggest bargain to date was from a garage sale down the road. I found this amazing change table. Nice green and white stripe padded top, 2 shelves underneath and a bath that pulls out from under the top. Now I have seen ones just like it in the magazines for $199. No not me…I paid a mere $10. Yes I am terribly proud of this!

We have decided not to find out the sex as there are already 3 boys and 3 girls and I want the surprise at the birth. Speaking of birth I’m feeling a little worried about that. Not the actual birth just making it to the hospital. It’s the first time I have had an issue with living in the country. We are an hour from the hospital. Now an hour might not seem all that big an issue except when you understand that Miss 11 arrived in 40 mins and Mast 10 in 20 mins. They decided to induce me with Miss 2 so she made her arrival at the hospital not on the lounge like Mast 10. So I had my waters broken and she slithered her way out 1 hour later.

So around the 1st June keep your eyes peeled for a news story about a hysterical woman giving birth on the highway!

I am counting on all my wonderful readers to keep me up to date with any baby deals they see and help me make this the cheapest pregnancy ever!

I think I hear the toilet bowl calling my name….
