  • 1/2 cup Gherkin Relish
  • 160 g Sour Cream
  • 125 g Cream Cheese softened
  • 125 g Crackers (we used ritz)
  • 1 tbsp Curry Powder

This is a great alternative to cheese, dip and crackers!

Method

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth, add sour cream and gherkin relish, beat again until mix together. Place in fridge for 20 minutes to chill until mixture starts to get firm.

  2. Place crackers in food processor and crush until resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in curry powder.

  3. Once firm, wet hands and scoop 1 heaped teaspoon of mix and roll into ball, roll in cracker crumbs and set aside on plate. Continue until all mix is rolled into balls.

  4. Serve immediately or keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Cheese and Gherkin Balls are suitable for freezing for up to 2 months, otherwise keep refrigerated for up to 2 days in an air tight container.
