Sweet and Sticky Sausages

Be bored with sausages NO MORE!  Sticky Sausages are easy peasy to make and only contain simple ingredients you will already have in your cupboard!  This is a sweet and sticky variation of standard sausages that only takes a few minutes more!

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Place the sausages on a lined baking tray and cook for 20 minutes until brown.Pour off any excess oil.

  3. Mix together the other ingredients and pour over the sausages and cook for a further 10 minutes or until the sausages become sticky!

  4. Serve with mash potato and veggies.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Sticky Sausages aren't suitable for freezing or making in advance.  Best eaten fresh.
  • Serve with cheesy mashed potato and steamed greens for a whole meal.
  • The saucy marinade would also taste great spooned over a char grilled steak or chicken breast.

There’s nothing quite like a great breakfast to start the day off right. And one of my favourite breakfast items is sweet and sticky sausages. These sausages are great for breakfast because they’re packed with protein and have just the right amount of sweetness.

The key to making them extra delicious is to use brown sugar. The brown sugar not only adds sweetness but also helps to caramelize the outside of the sausages, giving them a lovely crunch. So if you’re looking for a great way to start your day, be sure to give this recipe a try.

Sweet and sticky sausages are a delicious and easy way to add some extra flavour to your meal. They pair well with beans and rice, and they can also be used as an ingredient in a number of other dishes.

Whether you’re grilling them, frying them, or baking them, they are sure to please. So next time you’re looking for a quick and easy meal, reach for sweet and sticky sausages. You won’t be disappointed.
