Why am I regretting taking the Morning after pill?

Last night me and DH DTD unprotected. We always use protection so last night was really a once off.
I have just ovulated 2 days ago so knew if left to fate I would of been fertile enough for pregnancy so bought the morning after pill this morning and took it.
But now that I have taken the pill, I can’t help but feel like I will regret this decision and should of just left it in nature’s hands? I have been crying for the last half hour feeling beyond guilty for taking the pill...😥
Please help me get my head straight, why would I regret it when we were never actively trying for a baby?
For reference we have 2 DD (3 and 4.5) if that makes a difference...

No contraception is 100% effective though.

This is a common misconception actually. The pill works to prevent or delay ovulation. During or after ovulation, the pill is ineffective in most cases. The pill does not fight off the sperm.

I took the morning after pill within 6 hours of having sex and still became pregnant with my third! Previously i had fertility problems, so there is still a lot of hope that you may still end up with a baby after all! Careful what you wish for, you just may get it! Good luck either way xx

The morning after pill makes a huge mess of your hormones. It's probably the reason you're feeling so emotional.

There is evidence to suggest that if you are overweight the morning after pill isnt effective, have a google...

I have actually read that and found it interesting, apparently being over 75 kgs reduces its effectiveness. In saying that I am only 60kgs

Dont worry, my third baby (those are the sneaky ones!) was conceived exactly the same way as your ‘maybe baby’.

Yep! I took the pill about 5 hours after sex, kinda regretted it, forgot about it, two weeks later positive preg test.
She’s 3 now, and i still cant believe it!

Yep third baby here is unexpected, ammenhorrea for the last 3 years, and youngest is 12. I'm in so much shock but these sneaky things happen
