Do men speak another language?

I get so frustrated trying to explain things to my husband sometimes. He's a pretty clever guy but he has alot of problems connecting the dots. I'm pretty good at predicting what someone is going to say before they've even finished their sentence but he has to ask lots of questions, repeat what's been said & still doesn't get it- sometimes i just give up. Anyone elses partner like that?

My husband isn’t like that, but my 14 year old son is. God it’s hard sometimes! I think it’s more that he’s not really listening, not that he’s stupid.

Yeah mines the same. Really intelligent but not a lot of common sense - if that makes sense?
People explain things and he has to ask heaps of questions to get what they’ve said, where as like you I can tell exactly what they mean and almost predict what’s going to be said. Weird we sound so similar!

Weird. Yes absolutely about common sense. I've always said that about him and I. Well at least it's not just me. I'll work on remembering at those frustrating times that he is like another species & maybe more patience will ooze out of me.... or maybe not 🤷♀️.
