Dating and feelings

Answered 4 years ago

I’ve had about 6 dates (We 1.5m apart) with a guy I met on tinder! We have so many things in common, he seems to be a really great guy but I don’t have any spark or attraction to him!
So can attraction grow or do I call it off?

It might not happen, it could happen but even if it doesn’t you could end up with a good friend out of it. The same happened for me and now we’re friends. I wanted to give him a chance because he was the sort of man I wanted personality wise. Give it a shot. You’ve got nothing to lose.

Affection absolutely can take time to grow. I didn’t immediately feel it with my husband. It took a few dates until I felt that spark. And 15 happy years later, we are still going strong.

Same here. I dated my husband for a few months, because he was a great guy & I wanted to give it a chance. Together 20 years, married 15.

I’m not OP but this is so promising. I’ve too met a great man a few months who I’m not really feeling the spark with yet but I’ve formed a good friendship with. I’m hoping to grow the spark. Last relationship I had like this ended on great terms because that spark didn’t grow and we are now great friends.
