My partners ex wife does because she wants to be the cool mum. I far we have collected videos made at her of the 9 year old dancing like a stripper to WAP open for the whole world to see and multiple videos of the 12 year old making inappropriate videos, three of which require department of education intervention because clearly they were unsupervised and also in a school uniform

No it’s not appropriate for a child, go and watch it yourself and it will probably make your mind up. But also each to their own you might find it okay but it’s very very easy to find things on there that isn’t appropriate for many ages and a lot of disgusting people on there. It’s content made by adults for adults, sure there’s probably appropriate things in there for them but it’s not like you can filter it. There was a on that shot herself on a live it was circulating for a while. It’s not even something I wanted to see. A lot of sexualised content. But like I said it’s your child and ultimately it’s up to you but make a informed decision and look at it yourself first :)

Yip my 11yr old daughter and 13 yr old son both have it, my daughter and I also have a joint one too. As long as their profiles are private and they are responsible enough to not allow anyone they don't know to follow them I don't see the problem 🤷

My 13 year old daughter has it. She is responsible and likes it. She is into doing the dances and some of the trends. It’s just like any social media where you have to make sure to keep communication open. There are some good tiktokers that also keep an eye out for their younger fan base and make vids about keeping safe. My daughter has shown me some of the tiktoks about cyber safety and she takes them on board better than if I was to say it.
