How to Make Mock Cream

Hello, for my brother's birthday I want to replicate a cake we had as kids (bakery long gone now). The cake was decorated with a kind of stiff white peppermint cream which was piped on in large peaks, and then coated with a thin chocolate glaze. It uses a lot so it needs to be not too sickly - butter cream would be too much. Do you think this mock cream might be suitable for this? It looks like it pipes extremely well - that is the second requirement.

Thanks for your suggestion - have just googled that and it does look like the texture I'm after. I'm going to have a crack at it, in fact I'm just going to keep making different types of icing until I find "the one". First I'm off to buy some larger size jeans :-)))

oh no, that's a shame, the picture of the piped cupcake was looking very promising. I have no clue what the bakery could have used, don't know what to google next!! Thanks for your answer.
