Do you prefer pads with or without wings and why?

I always choose wings because without the bunch up and leak around the edges.

I used to only like without wings, but now I'm in my 30s i prefer wings so there's no leaks. Recently I've changed to reuseable pads too, which are good

Reuseables? It's been a "thing" for a while because many people are conscious of their environmental impact and don't want to unnecessarily add waste to landfill that takes hundreds of years to breakdown.
That's why there are options like the cup and cloth pads.
You should look into them and look into the amount of waste we're creating as a society!! 😊

I really hate pads. They feel so yuck so I mainly use tampons but at night time I use pads with wings. Stops them bunching up. But I would only use tampons if I could haha

You could look into a reusable menstrual cup, as you can use those overnight and skip the pads. You can also use them in place of tampons, and at any flow rate (light/heavy), it'd be worth looking into if you really hate pads :)

The last time I did, the wings stuck to my pubes. Ouch!!!!!!

I hate it when the front of the pad flips back over as you’re pulling your pants up and the pad sticks to your whole pubic area. That is ouch!!!

I always used wings, as like you I found without wings would scrunch up. I use period undies now and wish they were around when I was younger.

They hold the blood and you just rinse, wash , dry and reuse. I bought them for my 12 year old. Check out Modibodi. Expensive but worth it.

I use tampons in my heavier days, pads with wings when I’m easing off ( wings to stop leaks) and then liners on my last couple of days.

Wings for heavier days, no wings for lighter days. Depends on my flow though, I switch between a menstrual cup, pads with or without wings, and occasionally tampons. But I can only seem to use tampons with an applicator, just can’t get them positioned comfortably without an applicator.

If I had to use them it would be with wings as I’d feel more secure but I only use tampons.
