Can you get duromine prescription from a bulk billed doctor? Is it covered under public health/Medicare? How much do tablets cost? How long do you have to keep taking them, and does the weight come back when you go off them?

I think they sound like a gimmick and a terrible idea but honestly I don't know what else to try. I eat & exercise the exact same amount as my husband, who is a rake, yet for me the weight just keeps piling on...

Duromine isn’t a gimmick. It works. But many doctors don’t subscribe it because of its side effects. If diet and exercise isn’t working, there is a reason. Look at your portions. Consider a dietician. Also get a full physical check up from your gp. Which you should get anyway before taking Duromine

Just try duromine if it gives you bad side effects you stop taking it. East

- Look into optifast (meal replacement drink), I hear so many great sucesss stories.
- Intermittent fasting another great way to lose weight.
- 800 calorie diet (there’s a published book about it comes with recipes ect) another great weightloss method.
OR scrap all of them and just go get duromine from the doctors hahaha, (Warning you get no sleep and look like a crack addict with heightened emotions)

Some people lose 20kgs In 2 months some people take 6 it depends on the diet and exercise really.
Just remember motivation motivation MOTIVATIONNNNNNN! Good luck!

I take 30mg Duromine per day, I sleep fine. I also take anxiety meds and there has been no interactions. I don’t believe I look like a crack head, emotions have been better than ever as loosing weight has helped my back problems and that was causing me more anxiety than anything else, having lost 10kg in 6months (the weight has come off slowly as I am still eating I simply have more portion control and meal planning in place instead of getting hungry and eating whatever, make sure you drink plenty of water.
Speak to your regular doctor and get regular check ups, measure yourself as sometimes the measurements show a difference the scales don’t. no one here knows your situation so ignore the shite xxx

I did not have good experience on duramine. Sure i didn't have an appetite but i literally went crazy and was paranoid all the time and couldn't sleep. It was insane

I went on duromine and was so scared after everything i read about side effects. Turned out to be a big clue to my undiagnosed adhd lol. I was so calm and settled on it, could think clearly and it made me sleepy i could have my tablet and some caffeine and have a nap straight after! Im on the right adhd meds now and they suppress appetite and control my adhd. If anyone else experiences the same maybe get tested for adhd

I wrote the 4th response, it is definitely only an issue piling back on weight if stopping the medication if the weight is lost fast (like any diet) you need to use duromine properly, still eating and learning different eating habits while on it.
Don’t use it to starve yourself and wonder why you pile weight back on when you stop taking it and eat again. Anyone not eating and not sleeping would look like a crack head because that’s what crack heads do, don’t eat or sleep.

Saxenda, ask your doctor about it, lost 20kg in 6 months, also helped ms quit alcohol and have kept it off with no effort for 6 months so far. It is expensive, but if you have extras health insurance (like i do) it will most likely cover the cost, im with HBF.

Btw, this is not like durimine, and you wont feel all crack head-y on it. Also my doc gave me free sample to begin with, so ask your doc about that too. I exercise at least 1 hour everyday, rain or shine, i walk, you will need to combine exercise with Saxenda to get results. Dont let the price put you off, its a miracle drug! Even if you dont have extra private health insurance, its worth you getting it and serving the 2 months before filling a script.

Its injections, everyday in your fat roll on your stomach, the needle is tiny, mega tiny, you cant even feel it all. The doc will teach you how to do it too. It comes all neat in a epipen kind of thing and is so easy and simple to use. The script gives you 5 weeks worth of doses (once your up to the full dose - you ease up to it with smaller doses) i lost about 3-5kg per script.

Yep, but i have extras health insurance and it covers the price. I paid about $200 out of pocket for about 5 months worth. Thats good value when you consider all the crap we spend our money on trying to lose weight.

Yes. Cut sugar and carbs and dairy, upped the water intake and ate 7-10 cups of veg a day combined with 20 min of HIIT/Circuit training and some long walks. Lost 23kg.

I lost 40kg in 8 months after having my third child. I cut down my portion sizes and the amount of sugar i was eating, and try to make sure my carb intake comes from low GI options. I also walk for 30-60 minutes a day. And of course drink a lot of water

After my second baby, I lost 30kg and I did it by calorie counting. It took me about 18 months. And I’ve kept it off for 6 years. I don’t calorie count any more but it did teach me about portion control etc so I’m always mindful about that. My diet was always good, I just ate too much.
