Grow up, be an adult and ask him if he could please clean up the mess on your side, before he leaves. There is no need to get upset or be rude. Just be polite. I'm sure he hasn't done it deliberately

If it bothers you, then yes you should say something. For weeks our neighbours lawn mowing company has blown all their clippings onto our lawn(our lawn is crap), I really felt it was deliberate. Yesterday I saw him as I was returning home and watched him for 15seconds, as I was waiting to turn into my driveway whilst he was standing on my driveway blowing massive amounts at my lawn and even down my driveway! It was so stupid of him and lazy, so I said something along the lines of “would you mind not doing that”. He blamed the wind and all sorts of things but I was not having a bar of it, and calmly repeated myself knowing that he was acting defensive because he knew he was being a jerk. In the end he said he’ll try clear it, came out 1hour later, and it was immaculate..which proved my point. The thing is though, yesterday I managed to meditate for the first time in forever, and so I could control my emotions and stay calm, usually I get really agitated and can’t calm down for hours.. there’s a message there too. Goodluck everyone!

My neighbours gardener dumped his lawn clippings in my garden bed. I’d just gotten out of the shower and by the time I got outside to complain, he’d gone. I caught him again another time but I was leaving my house for a doc appointment so couldn’t stop. Caught him again. Went to confront him and he put his ear muffs on and went into the backyard, then rushed out and took off in his truck. He also prunes the hedges and leaves the cuttings on my side of fence. So I started going out into my garden on his gardening days. I pruned my roses very slowly and stayed out there until he left. He never dumped his clippings while I was stood there and he eventually stopped coming. The new gardener does the right thing.

My neighbours had a guy in their backyard clipping trees that are on the fence line in their place, the lazy prick chopped it all off and left the clippings dropped all over my backyard. Not even an offer to come and pick up his mess. I threw it in conversation next time I seen my neighbour “oh yeah I realised you had your trees trimmed as it was all over my backyard” needless to say he hasn’t done it since

They should ask you first. My husband is a tradie and it is the correct procedure to contact neighbours and let them know you will access their property. However, as you know what he is doing there and you’re not going out, is it an issue? Just pop out and check that he will remove all the mess. If you’re friendly with the neighbours maybe let them know and if any future works happen can they please inform you first (although the tradesman should do this himself, but neighbours can make sure that you are informed).
