Not meant for this world

Answered 3 years ago

I always feel maybe I am not meant for this world. Its been there since I can remember I just don't want to be here anymore. I am tired of trying, caring, hurting all the time. Tired of being alone and looked over.

Is this normal?

We aren’t meant for this world in it’s fallen state... We were created for communion with the Maker of this world... and He (God) is the only thing that can fill that longing hole of destiny and purpose, everything else is temporary.... (John 3:16/ Romans 10:13)
It’s otherwise what psychology would call depression, feeling so hopeless... and perspective is EVERYTHING... Have you heard of CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) I HIGHLY recommend this, a life coach or this book called “A 52 week guided journal” by Tiffany Louise - nutrition (mineral deficiencies/hormones) and sunshine can GREATLY effect our well being... We are a body, mind, and soul being.... You have so much life to learn and navigate, it’s so short... compared to an eternity... reach out to a friend a family member an aquaintance a youth pastor or any pastor/counselor... call a hotline... join a local group... look up communitybiblestudy.org... they are an international group that has zoom meetings weekly... sounds like you need to be surrounded, they have scholarship programs... 16personalities.com is a website that has a free test for traits to help learn your strengths and weaknesses and helps navigating ways to overcome... also a heart of gratitude (a positive “energy” towards the small things - helps the mind’s receptors connect the dots... find a few good things a gratitude for them, like a grandma, ice cream, being outside swimming in water... Read a proverbs and Psalms a day...

Totally agree, God has a purpose for everyone and wants to have a personal relationship with each of us, only when you come to connect with God through the receiving of his Holy Spirit will you know true contentment and have direction in life. The greatest day is not the day we were born but the day we discovered why we were created. Want to know more look up Revival Centres Church.

Are you a people pleaser? Stop being such a giver. If you have children it is normal to develop into a giver because they need so much but you have to exercise self care and please yourself also. Set up boundaries

Hi
I’m sorry that you feel like this. No one deserves to feel this way.
I know that you’ve tried counselling - but keep looking. All counsellors are different and you need one that clicks with you.
I think we all forget that what happens to us, the family we have, the people around and all sorts of various circumstances shape how we feel and how we act. It all has a massive impact on how we see ourselves. It can be hard to find the person underneath all the bullshit that we take on.
There’s lots of good reading online - get well, pyschologytoday etc - have a look and find a professional you can click with.
Take care

Hi OP - the only thing we can advise on this forum is to please keep seeking medical attention - sometimes it can take a while to find the right medications to suit you and your symptoms.

See your doctor, you could be depressed. I've recently started taking anti depressants, after many years of symptoms. They have really helped me feel normal, & function normally again.
