I reckon go for it, you can die during any job. Maybe you are working at woolies doing a night shift then all of a sudden you walk on the wet floor slip and go head first into the roast chicken cooker... bam cya later. It could happen!

Things worked out for me. I own my own business and do something I absolutely love.
However I would have loved to be a paramedic.
I have a degree and wasn’t sure if I was going to do paramedic or see if I could toughen out the years of study to be a surgeon.
I was 2 years into uni when my small business exploded. Then I fell pregnant 3 years in and I had a reality check that a surgeon or paramedic would compromise the sort of mum I wanted to be. Don’t know why I never thought of the logistics or longevity for it.

It all worked out for me, but I still think being a paramedic would have suited me to a tee and been a job I loved.
