We’ve never been overly affection in public or in private really.
If we’re physically affectionate in any way it usually leads to sex.

Way less after kids.
We’ve just never been a toouchy feely couple.

Funny comparison though the boyfriend before him was super appecionate, to the point it was a little to much for me, and I use to consider myself affectionate! But the sexual chemistry was not even close to hubby and I.

Hubby and I almost never physically affectionate unless either one of us is trying to get it.
And he is by far the best sex iv had and least affectionate partner.

Also side note, other people’s affection makes me uncomfortable now more than ever lol

Don’t know it’s just awkward for me , I never liked it much.
My parents aren’t an over affectionate couple, never saw them do anything more than an arm around her walking or on the back of her chair at a dinner. Maybe that effected me.

Each hold a kids hand on the outside and you and your partner hold hands in the middle. You’ll take up the whole aisle and piss people off but who cares!

We used to, all the time. Two kids changed all that, which was about 5 years into our relationship. And it’s now a habit we have dropped even when we are out without the kids.
