I struggle to believe, with all the terrible things that happen in this world. I can't believe that a caring and kind God would let terrible things happen to innocent people.

Free will. The ability to choose means some people will make horrible choices.
Having free will means we can choose to love or hate. Without choice it wouldn't be love or hate - it would be instinct. Not a moral choice. Just like the animal kingdom.

No. I'm not a believer but I will admit a few months ago, when I was pregnant, I started to bleed. I decided to take myself to the hospital and I pulled over on the way and I prayed that my baby would be ok.

Thankyou I'm doing ok! Happy to be pregnant again but so much anxiety as I'm terrified of it happening again. I'm 18 weeks and absolutely shitting it. But thanks haha

No. Waste of time. I've been through many difficult things in my life. The strength I have with myself and those around me helped me through it. Not some made up person in the sky.

Yes. I believe in god but I don't really belive in all the religion / dogma around it. I don't go to church or temple. But I believe that there is ultimately a higher creator of some description looking out for us in some way.
