It depends on wether or not I'd have to spend 20years in jail only to be executed anyway. If execution was immediate, then I'd do that

I have too, 1.5 years is not really that long in the big scheme of things.
I could do life in mainstream... I would top myself if I got sent to the bone yard regardless of how long I was there for. I am not a pedo, child killer or a snitch so I wouldn’t end up there anyways.

It really depends on the crime I was convicted for and whether I was innocent or not.
Life in prison as an alleged paedophile is vastly different than life in prison as a bank robber. And the death penalty, well, there would be a certain appeal to that if I was faced with a long life of crushing guilt for a crime I'd committed.
