Ah, the sister in law. Of course. 🙄

Not just mothers. Pre kids I had a heated discussion with a father about this. He said I had no clue what love was because I wasn’t a parent. Now years later I am a
parent, I still stand by what I said. It’s a love I never felt before but that’s just what it is. A different kind of love.

I agree. It's a different kind of love. I think the problem is the term true love. It means different things to different people because no one can experience exactly the same thing or sometimes they just have different ideas about what it is.

Before kids I worked permanent night shift. 9pm-7am 5 days a week for a number of years. Parenting can be tiring , but I was far more exhausted working night shift.
