Your moral compass should tell you wishing harm on others is a no go zone. Didn't your mother teach you that?

A Brisbane mother and daughter have narrowly survived being flipped into the air while riding a scooter in Bali.
The remarkable escape was captured on security cameras, sparking a reminder for tourists to take extra care while on the holiday island’s roads.
The footage shows Danni Suriano and 12-year-old Summer go flying as their scooter collides with a van at a Canggu intersection.

I think people who live in bubbles with their children and don't take them out to experience the world shouldn't be parents. Thats idiotic to me. But what would I know

My husband does motorsport racing, sure its not formula one but he's still hitting corners at 140kmh in a car from the 60's. Dangerous? YES, but he loves it and we support that.

When you're a parent kids come first period. Keep yourself healthy, no smoking, no drugs, limited drinking (if at all), don't take risks when driving, don't get distracted when driving, don't partake in risky activities. They didn't ask to be born and they sure do not deserve to lose their parent/s due to a stupid and selfish reason. Do all of that crap before you have kids.

Surely this doesn't apply after a certain age? I can understand when they are young you want to minimise risks, but there is no way I'd want my parents to think they can't do something risky now just in case they die. How boring that could be. If they enjoyed sky diving for example, I'd want them to keep doing it and enjoy their lives. Obviously this also depends on what people deem 'risky'.

Depends on the risk. Driving over the speed limit is unlawful for a reason. If I decided to ride a scooter in Bali I wouldn’t do it with my child on the back.

Because they're selfish and their thrill comes before their kids happiness.
