Some places do lessons on makeup application. Maybe better to do it in person with someone rather than watch a video?

Fair enough. My only other suggestion would be using eyeshadow and a liner brush to do liner instead. I find it easier than using a pencil/crayon etc.

I think you should do a lot of research before doing something drastic you may regret later on. Like tattoos its there forever. Maybe invest in those stencils instead.

I have been thinking about this for a very long time over 2 years plus, I have never heard of stencils before and have even asked in Mecca or Sephora for something similar and was told they don’t sell anything like that. If you could tell me where to purchase said stencils I be happy to give them a go

Just draw a gentle line with feathery strokes as close to your lash line as possible and then use a cotton tip to smudge it. Clean up any mistakes with a cotton tip with some eye make up remover.

Ok, that's fair enough. It sounds like you've really tried to learn and if you think makeup tattooing will make you happy - go for it. I haven't had it done, but I have read about Amy Jean salons, they offer permanent options - maybe have a look at their website?

I had my upper and lower eyelids tattooed, and it was the best thing I ever did. Its been worth every dollar.

I wear contact lenses, and it did not matter what eye liner I used, it would gradually make my eyes greasy, and fog the lenses. Mascara was much worse, as it would either increase the fogginess, or stiff bits would break off and get under the lens and feel like the agony of a eyelash in my eye.

I am very shortsighted, so couldn't even put eyeliner on easily without my glasses.

You need to get them done by someone skilled and reputable. They would insist on making them enhance your natural eye, and would not be willing to do them to a fancy style that may go out of fashion, like the big wings out the side.

Mine have lasted over 15 years. They were coloured dark brown to keep them natural, as I am fair skinned. I also have my eyelashes dyed blue black about every 3 weeks.

Everyone says they look fantastic, and an advantage is that you wake up looking good.
Its a 24 hours / 365 days a year investment.

Hey girl, before you do anything permanent, try watching you tube to get tips. I was the same, until I watched Claudia Schiffer talk about make up techniques on Oprah one day! Seriously. And I've never looked back.

Thanks for the reply I will look up the person you suggested, to date I have watched a lot of videos on YouTube and even got a book on makeup application specifically talking about eyes and still haven’t been successful lol I swear I am uncoordinated

Just use your ring finger to smudge the line.

Hi, I think anything permanent, like tattoos, is a bit contentious for its very natural. You might want this eyeliner to be as much subtle and thin as possible and nowhere near as blunt as liquid eyeliner. No wings, as as nice and stylish as they are, you might not want them on all time.
I think you can learn it, I'm confident you can, if you really love eyeliner. I don't think permanent one is the answer, as you might want to express your creativity with various wings, inner, outer, and different shapes as well, modulation, tapering, which is what the fun of doing eyeliner is about. If you just want a basic makeup you could try a bit of eyeshadow. Not sure if I helped, but I hope it fuels the topic and your interest.
