Unfortunately, it’s difficult to know what your lump is or the cause without seeing it. Most of the time, there is no need for concern; however, sometimes treatment is necessary. The important thing to remember is anytime you notice something new or different in your genital area such as: lumps, bumps redness, rash, discharge, and/or pain, you should call your health provider’s office and ask if you need to make an appointment. If it is an infection you may need medicine.

Since you are aware of the lump during the time of your period, a possible reason could be a reaction or irritation from menstrual pads. Another reason could be an ingrown pubic hair. Sitting in a warm tub bath for 15-20 minutes at a time several times a day may help to relieve any discomfort. Lumps and bumps in the genital area are fairly common and most often easily treated. Don’t try to treat yourself by squeezing the lump, as this will only make it worse. Your health care provider likely sees this type of problem on a regular basis and will be able to make a diagnosis and offer treatment.

It always flares up when I get my monthlies, I have to wear a liner every day when I dont have them so it can't be pad related.
Might be my hormones? Causing them?

Definitely get in and see a Gynecologist they'll be able to diagnose easily as they're a specialist.
