Take Home Pay

Answered 4 years ago

Im curious to know how our take home pay compares to other families out there.

I don't know what's average or considered good.

What's is your wage
What's your partner's wage.

Do you feel like it's adequate?

I'm on 1200 a week
Partner on 1150 a week.
We have a 4 and 6 year old.

Responses welcomed as I'm genuinely interested.

Thanks

I agree I have 3 kids, I took 2 years maternity leave with each kid (they are all 3 years apart) and no way is being at home with 3 kids harder than being at work. I wonder what jobs people did that they think work is easy?

We own a business run as a trust. So basically we spend whatever we want and just call it our wages. Find a good accountant and they’re worth their weight in gold :)

Until you liquidate and receive charges of misappropriating funds by the police. Sadly been there don’t that. Be careful

The accountant manages everything. It’s all legal we don’t pay ourselves a “weekly wage” we just work it out afterwards.
