Why do people receive an award from the Queen for getting paid millions for doing their job ?

It’s not because of the money. It’s about the positive influence they have in our community. Did you know 1000 Australians received an order? Most of them are not famous or earning huge dollars

My grandfather received one many decades ago for his charitable work. Not just rich and famous people receive them. The media only make a big deal over the famous recipients.
