If someone organises a get together, they can invite (and not invite) whoever they choose.

Only him and not you? If that's it then it's really rude. I would never invite one half of a married couple anywhere, or even a partnered couple. I don't think it's discrimination, it's just very rude.

Only if their reason for not inviting was because she was part of a minority group. If they are only inviting cousins and none of their partners then they are just assholes, not discriminating.
