Dry 'crawly' skin, hot flushes, weight gain, hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, insomnia, forgetfullness, trouble focusing mentally.. I'm using HRT patches which have helped and eliminated sugar from my diet which for me, causes the sweats. It's different for everyone. I was 33 (quite rare).

I know right! Horrendous. I wonder how I keep my job - but I'm very good at writing things down and making lists.

I was 41. I certainly don’t have a dry vagina or any issues down in that department relating to sex. I have no periods that’s it. I did have about three years of full on night sweats ... sweat through the bedding night sweats. It was horrendous and it made no difference if I was hot or cold or had a fan on.
Dry skin is a thing .. totally manageable with good hydration and a good skin care regime.
No moods during or now.

I had a mammogram about 5yrs ago and she told me I was premenopausal. Nothing has changed yet and I can't wait for it. I'm nearly 50 and I think I'm done

My mum was around 52 when it started, her main issue was the hot flushes. She would almost pass out from them. Sweating over night etc. So she went on medication (not hrt it was an antidepressant) and it helped. She's 60 next year and it's better. Still gets flushes on and off but doesn't affect her life anymore.

I’m 46, I’m pretty sure I’m in peri menopause - periods so irregular anywhere from 12 to 69 days!! I used to be very regular so it’s been a struggle with the lack of consistency. They have also been extremely heavy with ‘flooding’ (ie soak through heavy tampon within an hour, lots of clots. GP & gynae suggested Mirena but I think I’ll go crazy & get fat if I use it 😂. Instead I take tranexamic acid from the first day & it has really helped with my iron levels & let me leave the house confidently without worry about a red tsunami through my pants!
Other thing i think is happening is a change in my vag tissue - not necessarily dry but more fragile in one area & it’s affecting my sexlife 🤬Makes me really sorry in that spot.
I’m not keen for HRT so have lost 12kg this year & cleaned up my diet in hope that this may help other menopause symptoms.
Still sleeping well, no hot flushes, still moody at times but that’s a given for me lol

I only had 4 periods last year, maybe 5 months of hot flushes this year and nothing since. Yet!

I am 47 and have irregular periods. I think I might be in peri menopause. I make sure I have lots of calcium and exercise. A friend didn’t realize she was going through it and didn’t take calcium and she developed osteoporosis.
