COVID kilos

Answered 3 years ago

In Melbourne, coming out of COVID I put on 3kgs. I am exercising like mad to lose it but have put on an extra 2kgs. 😮
Is it normal to put on weight before you lose it? I am being sensible with food and don’t drink. I have decided to cut sugar to help me.
Any suggestions?

Thanks everyone lost a little bit this week and have reduced my plate size and drinking lots of green tea. I agree it’s the stress of being locked in. I feel like it’s going to take me 6 months to get fit again, COVID put me behind.

Every body is different. Personally, I've gained 15 kilos since January. It sucks. I do loads of exercise, and I'm trying to sort my diet out. I blame covid.

Do your clothes fit better?
Keep going, your body needs time to adjust.
