Ok its been 20 minutes and I have shit to do so buckle up baby here we go.
Honey chicken:
Get you some chicken breast bits from the deli at woolies (get the pre cut chunks, it saves soooo much time).
Tenderise that shit and coat in flour.
Make up some instant batter (again, time saving) and dunk away.
Heat up a bunch of sunflower oil in a big ol' pot. A huge bitch pot, we don't want spillage.
Fry chicken bits and drain on a wire thing.
Drizzle over honey and sprinkle on some sesame seeds.
Boom! Honey chicken!

Fried rice:
Cook white or basmati rice as per packet instructions.
Cover and rest in fridge for, I don't know, lots of hours. I do 12 but that's up to you.
Mix in some soy sauce, peas, ham, omelette, and whatever other shit you want in.
Fry that shit in a shallow fat wide pan, stirring and jiggling and shit.
Once its hot and ready, eat up.

Sweet n sour pork:
Pork fillet (the one that looks like a giant wang), cut it up and tenderise it.
Again with the flour and instant batter.
Also, again with the frying and draining.
Serve with bottled sweet and sour sauce (kantong does a nice one - NOT the pineapple one, it's trash)

Curried chicken:
Steam cook chicken chunks.
Steam vegetables.
In the international aisle of coles/woolies there's some British sauce for Chinese curry. Buy and make that.
Mix that shit together and serve over rice or noodlies.

Spring rolls:
Frozen spring roll wrappers
Mix up pork mince, shredded cabbage, grated carrots in a big ol' bowl.
Wrap mixture into the wrappers, wetting the edges of they're dried out.
Fry in low-medium heat sunflower oil until shits cooked in the middle (try and keep track of how long it takes in the oil to be cooked, I never time it and always end up wasting half the fucking mix like an asshole)
Serve with Vietnamese sweet chilli sauce (Asian aisle in Coles, white lid, has orange shit in it)

Dumplings:
Same wrappers as spring rolls
Make some little mince meatballs and wrap in the wrappers.
Smoosh the edges of the wrapper up with a fork so it doesn't escape.
Fry (same as spring rolls)

Adding in to my spring rolls recipe: I'm making this shit today, and will be pre-cooking my mince. Not the cabbage and shit, just the mince. Hopefully it turns out good. I'm sick of wasting all my shit because I can't gauge the temperature of the oil vs cooking time properly.

Hope this helps anyone still looking for fakeaway Chinese recipes.

Also: 5 spice chicken is the same prep method as honey chicken, but before you dunk in to the batter, roll it in 5 spice mix and cornflour (depending on how spicy you want to go). And obvs don't chuck honey and sesame seeds on it at the end 🖒
