Vacuum question.

Answered 4 years ago

I am desperate for a new one. I have the shark navigator now, which I love don't get me wrong but it's so big and bulky and I hate plugging it in around the house plus after 7 years it's starting to die. We have a larger home. I want a cordless stick one. Is the Dyson the best around?? I've heard the battery only lasts about 30 mins?? Any info would be great!

I had a very old Hoover that served me for over 8 yrs it was a pain having to plug it into each room to vacuum would take me all day to vacuum the house. I did not know what I was missing out on I recently purchased a Dyson v11 and OMG it’s a lifesaver. Yes the battery life isn’t long 60min on eco bout 45 on med and less on boost mode but I can get the whole house done on med and sometimes still have time left over and it sucks up so much dust that gets in between the floorboards. So handy to just grab out and clean up mini messes. Well worth every cent!

No this one doesn’t and I thought there’s no way less than an hr would be enough to vacuum the whole house but i actually get it all done and even sometimes have time left over where I do the skirtings as well. I’m really impressed with its suction and power. I would dread vacuuming it would literally take up one whole day of my week with my old plug in vacuum. It’s been such a timesaver and hubby will even get it out now to clean up the crumbs cos it’s just a handheld stick no having to plug anything in lol

I've got a Dyson and it's great. My mil has a LG zero and says it's really good, and it comes with an extra battery too, so that's handy.

Im waiting for my Dyson 7 to arrive! Cant wait, it’s the iphone of the vacuum world im told. If you decide to get one, wait till you can find it on sale, usually go down to about $350/$400, big saving on the reg. price, which can be in the $700 region.

I have a Dyson v6 cordless i love it but yes battery only last 30 minutes about 5 minutes if you set it to max but its easy to get out for quick messes through out the day and has good suction power even on the low setting easy to clean to
