Who's moved from city to a small community or rural town?

What was the reason? Is housing cheaper? How did you find a job? What do you do about schooling eg if there's no high school? Was it easy to fit into the community or do you keep to yourself?

In the city nobody knows or cares who you are, small towns everyone knows who you are and what you have done better than what you know who you are and what you have done.
