Fishing. In itself, it's not a bad hobby (puts food on the table, and he has fun doing it). BUT, apparently my hubby thinks one of MY hobbies is cleaning up scales, fish blood, and guts from all over our kitchen. It's not. I have to hold back my vomit every time. Gross.
And the rods, omg the fishing rods! Who knew there were so many different types? I didn't! Beach fishing, deep water fishing, off the rocks fishing, all mean a different rod and tackle set. The fuck? Mate, just cast a line in and stop being such a fusspot.

Betting on horse races. He called the money he spent on it an "investment".
Always justified it, and was spending more and more.
He never made any money, and after we split I did very well financially, and he did not.
I was so glad I dumped him without letting it drag on for too long.

My hubby is a gamer too, but I'm so glad he's not too bad! He refuses to pay full price for games, so will wait until the price drops or they are on sale. And thankfully he ends up with headaches if he plays too long, so can't sit and play all day and night 😉

Cars. So many cars. My husband likes buying cars mostly from the auctions, fixing them up and eventually selling them on cheaply but at a profit for us. It is expensive because you have to buy the car, fix it up and pay for it to be inspected and registered and there is no guarantees that they will sell.
