This is nice but I would always aim to have at least one friend of your own because life doesn't always turn out as we plan. If you need someone to talk to about him who do you turn to?

I have a bunch of very close friends I could talk to if I needed to. But honestly other then small venting I have never had to talk to anyone about my husband.
I have found that over the years friendships change and friends come and go, my husband has been at my side, my biggest supporter and friend for over 20 years.

Yes & they're reliable, honest & loyal. I can't deal with wishy washy "friends" that i'm not sure if I can rely on or not (which I had plenty of those). I realised quality over quantity is what I needed. I stopped wasting time on fake surface relationships, invested time in the people who really deserved my love & attention & i'm much more content than I was when I had lots of false friends.

I'm not in high school, so no. I do have a couple of close friends I've had for many years. One I see regularly, one I may not speak to for months but they're always there & know I am for them as well.
