I made a baked cheesecake and followed the instructions to the letter but it still cracked!! Any idea why?

I’m an avid baker, when cheesecakes crack it’s beciase the oven is too dry, you can avoid this by placing a water bath beneath the cheesecake (just make sure no water leaks into the cake tin) or u can place an ovenproof bowl/mug filled with water into the oven beside the cake.
When the cheesecake is finished open the oven a crack first and let it sit for 20 mins then take out of oven 👍
