I guess when money isn't being used in order in meet needs, it can be frustrating to hear about. Like you can afford takeout everyday but can't pay rent. I think that's more frustrating about people's lack of self discipline etc.
Or if you're quite frugal in one area of your life, or can be hard to understand why people overspend unnecessarily.
Or they are jealous?

I don’t care what people spend their money on unless they’re crying poor and borrowing money - had a relative constantly borrowing small amounts of cash to pay bills and buy food, but always smoking and getting takeaway. Have to admit that was annoying. In the end she borrowed a larger amount to pay a rental bond and I told her to keep it but never hit me up for money again and it worked 😀

I dont care what other people spend their money on as it doesn't affect me. What I do with my money is noone elses business so thats the moral I go by. Their money their life. My money my life. Dont tell me what to do with my money.

Jealousy can also play into it. For some.

Jealousy? Maybe they aren't good with their money? Maybe they hate debt? Maybe they're struggling to save and can't afford to lash out? Maybe they can't justify spending their money on things that you spend on? Different priorities?
