Would you take the job?

Answered 4 years ago

I've been offered a job monday-friday, 4 hours a day. I wa made redundant last year from both my jobs and haven't worked since. I dont need to work financially, but have been thinking about getting back into something. It's definitely not my dream job (dont know what that even is) but its within my industry. On paper it sounds perfect but im seriously shitting myself and over thinking the whole thing. My self confidence is completely shot and I'm worried about fucking up.

DEFO TAKE THE JOB!!! If it dosnt work, quit.... No one can get any type of job atm, you should be proud just to have an offer! Who knows when or if you will ever be offered a job again, go for it, also so much easier to get another job when you already have one. Dont let that gap im your cv get too big, so hard to overcome.

Take it for sure. Even if it’s just more experience on your resume for when you find what your dream job is. You got this.

Give it a crack!! And if it's not the right fit for you then you can chuck it in!!
If you have a bad feeling then don't do it but you're probably nervous.
I'd say have a go, 4hrs each day would be perfect, especially if its school hours or after they're asleep.
Best of luck matey, tell us what you decide, but again, if your gut is against it then its probably for a very good reason.
