To the naked eye, can YOU see the difference between the two? I can't.

Cant tell by looking with the naked eye, but years ago I had one, and you could tell it wasn't a diamond when it got dirty. It lost all its luster.

No but I wouldn’t know what to look for. Some years ago I took my late grandmother’s engagement ring to the jeweller for appraisal (insurance purposes) and they had to look at it through their microscope glass (not sure what that’s called) to tell me it’s a cubic zirconia. Not that it matters personally as the sentimental value is priceless.
