What type of schooling does your autistic child attend?

Answered 4 years ago

Public school? Private school? Homeschool? Special school? - I’m sorry if ‘special school’ is a offensive term I just generally have no idea what they call those types of schools.

Public School. He is in a mainstream class but regularly gets pulled out for sensory breaks. He gets teacher aide support throughout the week and the school has a support centre which he occassionally goes to for extra help. He is in Year 2 and is liking school.
