Rewarding myself.

So I quit smoking cold turkey 7 weeks ago! After 15 years of the habit.
Now I would like to whiten my teeth as a little reward! Has anyone used the hi smile style whitening kits? With the mouth guard and light? Looking for recommendations. I live very rural so getting into a dentist is not only hard but a long bloody drive so hoping to do it at home :)

No recommendations for the specific one you mention, but I’ve done at home stuff and they CAN be pretty crappy as dentists make the mould exactly for your teeth and give the right percentage of peroxide for what you need to achieve your goal.
Just do a lot of research and check that it’s a safe amount of peroxide that it won’t shock your gums and it’s safe to use at home etc. I guess once you have really researched it all you will get a gut feel that it’s worth taking the plunge or if you are still hesitating there may be a reason why.

I haven't used anything but congratulations on your massive achievement. It's so hard but the reward is amazing. I've been done for 10 years now after attempts at least 5 times a year so well done. Keep at it xxx

Thankyou so much! It's been hard, it's still hard. Especially as my best friends are smokers so I avoided them for as long as I could hahaha. But they've been really supportive and I feel so much better!!! Congrats to you too :)

Honestly I made a cuppa a few days ago and still felt like a ciggie. I know that after 10yrs if I had a puff, I'd definitely start smoking again. It's like a demon. Stick with it 😘

I've tried those kits with no luck, so I decided to fork out the money for one of those smile lab visits, if you go on a Monday it's half price, see if they have one in your area
