My 92 year old nan is in very poor health. It has been decided by the family that only two of my aunties continue to visit her to care for her. We are a huge family but it’s just not safe for us all to keep visiting. One of my cousins is being a selfish bitch saying she should be able to go if she puts her kids in another room of the house. Everyone else has explained the dangers but she just doesn’t care. She won’t get it through her thick skull that she could introduce germs and cause my nanna’s death.

I heard a mum say her 17 year old didn’t care about the rules saying “ we’re all going to die one day”

I'm so sick of these sh*tbags who claim 'I'm not going to quarantine. It's not going to affect me. It only kills old people.'

People are garbage, which has been long-since known, but the past few weeks have really shown the depravity and selfishness of the human race.

Yesterday I had some older woman (I don't know maybe mid 60s) right up my arse at the checkout. Not only was she trying to climb into my groceries as I was loading them on to the conveyor, she then tried to block me out of the way to pay. Like, she was so fucking close I had to avoid elbowing her as I was putting shit up to be scanned. She had no concept of personal space, and even less of social distancing.
I think it is just arrogance.
The "I'm not going to isolate like all you idiots" mentality. The "I'm too smart to believe the media" mentality. The people who blatantly defy medical advise are idiots at best, and dangerous psychopaths at worst. Honestly, if it hadn't been one of my favourite checkout girls serving me, I'd have made a scene yesterday. This woman was a pain in the arse on a regular day, but a mega bitch during the pandemic.

People aren’t taking it seriously. The amount of times I’ve heard someone say “but the flu kills more people” is ridiculous. I couldn’t walk into a nursing home or a cancer ward and point to 10 people who should die, because they’re the ones who will die if they catch it. I’m being careful for the old lady at the chemist, or my neighbour who waves and smiles, or the man who has just undergone chemotherapy whose carer is reluctantly out getting some essential supplies for him. Being selfish and thinking it won’t affect you because it isn’t serious is what causes people to ignore the advice of the experts.

Because they havent a clue what its like to be so sick you cant breath. They have no idea of their own actions and consequences of those. Maybe time spent in isolation aka jail for breaking rules would teach them.

Because people are arrogant, selfish as*holes who have become so morally bankrupt and devoid of an ability to care about others. They deserve such a severe penalty for being such pr*cks.
