What are the best dinner meal boxes? Hello fresh etc

Answered 4 years ago

Im working 5 days per week now and with kids activities/ sport etc I'm quite time poor. Was thinking of ordering the meal boxes for 4 nights a week. Just me and hubby, will do other stuff for the kids. I like to cook, but to know what we are having, have it portioned out etc seems a bit easier. What do yiu recomend for quality, freshness, healthyness etc?

I prefer hello fresh. Consistently good produce, well packed, meat that isn’t scraping close to used by dates. Marley spoon was by far the worst out of the lot - damaged poorly packed produce, used by meat, vegetables that were not even close to being fresh - rotten tomatoes and onions 🤮
Dinnerly was excellent value for money but I stuck with hello fresh because I preferred the recipes and they require less of you at the shops.

Most hello fresh meals have a lot of prep required. They are nice but around 30 mins in prep and cooking

Hello fresh turned bad - veg was often out of stock and substituted, what was delivered was NOT fresh, meat was often on the verge, we had to throw some sus meat out...disappointing

We prefer Dinnerly and Marley spoon. Hello fresh has been a bit iffy with quality lately. But we tend to switch between the three depending on what’s on the menus and who has sent me discounts
