As others have suggested, speak to the union or your union rep for advice. You could also express your concerns and ask to moved to a non clinical role or light duties. I’m a nurse and a lot of my colleagues were moved off the floor and into admin roles while pregnant, especially if they were experiencing a lot of back pain etc towards the end if their pregnancies. A change in role would save you using up all your leave entitlements unnecessarily.

My friend took the first 12 weeks to work from home, she is a teacher and didnt want to risk anything. When covid first came out pregnant woman were told the baby was okay I guess you should really speak to ur gp as more maybe known and any concerns should be spoken to those in the know. In terms of work speak to ur employer.
