I am sooooo bored, i mean how many times can you go to the zoo/aquarium ect....Everything on Foxtel is a repeat, same with netflicks and stan.... Please give some ideas, surely there is something left?!! What are the rest of you doing these holidays?

My children are in their 20s now so I have done a lot of school holidays. We alternated a home day with an out day.

Mandurah have dolphin cruises. Kids are free with a paying adult. Or walk along the foreshore then walk across the new bridge to Kings Carnival. I love Mandurah. We also catch a train into the city then a ferry across the river. Grab and ice cream then come back. You could go on a double decker bus ride. Go to the new playground at Optus stadium. Miniature train rides. A walk around serpentine falls. Peel Zoo is great. Mini golf at the vines.

Can I just add to my comment, Although I’ve given lots of idea sometimes my kids just want to hang out at home in their pjs and do nothing all day. Don’t feel you need to entertain them everyday 😊

I used ro take my kids on a train trip somewhere. Or jump on a bus and see where we ended up. Go to Mandurah on train and bus.
The Energy Museum at Freo used to run science programmes and cooking days for the kids, I used to take mine each holidays.

Days at parks; try out different ones around the wider area. Same with beaches or lakes. Take nice picnic lunches. Collect leaves and twigs and seashells then make art works with them back at home. Try to alternate days at home with days out and about.
Drawing pictures of the previous days activities, and writing simple stories on the picture (depending on ages). This helps consolidate their experience and their learnings from the previous day.
Art & craft work days at home using found items like sticks, leaves, grasses, flowers, macaroni etc.
Developing a vegetable and flower garden at home.
Kids should be able to amuse themselves to a certain extent. You should not feel you have to amuse them, or arrange amusements for them all the time.
You should be able to sit down with some peace and quiet by yourself while the kids play independently.
If they say they are bored, then give them jobs round home to do, and let them know that will be what is arranged if they cannot amuse themselves.
When I was a kid the holidays were spent amusing ourselves, and we only came home when we were starving, or it was too dark to see. But we did have big yards and did not have to be watched closely because of the risk from strangers.

Make some paper boats and find some puddles. Who can splash their boat the farthest per jump?
Scavenger hunt some winter shit (I don't know, brown leaves, random lost glove on the street,a bogan in uggs).
Get on the train and see how long you can stay on then have a picnic where you get off.

Library (some run holiday activities but also just borrow books dvds you don’t have), beach walks if you’re close, paint a canvas for the wall, visit family, and at the end of the day you could always let them get bored - they might invent their own entertainment.
