Someone stayed over then cash disappeared?

My friend stayed over but then I can’t find some foreign money I had on the table. Is it wrong to ask if they know where it is?

Maybe just be casual and be like "hey when you were over I left my currency on the table and I have no idea where I've put it, you didn't see it by any chance?"

Just casually ask if they remover seeing it. It might have simply been moved and misplaced. But as a precaution I wouldn’t leave cash, of any currency, laying around the next time that person visits.
