Many people don't know what to say regarding pregnancy loss. They are trying to make you feel better and don't understand their words are hurtful. Most people aren't very skilled at being empathetic and move more towards being sympathetic.

I agree, lots of people don't know what to say and they think they are being helpful and thoughtful even though you want them to shut the fuck up. I guess they mean well

Because they want you to think about the environmental impact 5 children have on the world? But I’m sure you’ve considered that already and are happy to kill the world a bit more than you already have with 4 kids.
