Look into therapeutic parenting.
Also let them be them as much as possible, they'll mature and learn to make it work for them eventually. Keep busy, take them to playgrounds, music, dance, give them more time to make a decision and give them options not just "what do you want....." Most of all, enjoy them, be silly allow yourself to join in on their on their ways. It'll help them feel less lonely,
