No I don't think so? Comparing to my friends who do hair, nails, lashes, Botox, fillers, facials etc I don't do any of those at all.

Appearance wise, I'm medium maintenance maybe, I taught myself how to do gel nails just the way I like them, I have my lashes and brows done regularly because my best friend is a lash tech and my hair done regularly because my husband's best friend owns a salon so we all swap services... those are really the only 3 beauty things I have done often but I could DIY or go without if I needed to with no worries or fuss, I get my clothes, shoes, accessories, at no real cost because I own a little boutique. I usually allow myself 2 new outfits from my store a week so I always have something current to wear when I'm working.

Same here I would consider myself medium maintenance. I do my hair, waxing, nails, pedicure, eyebrows regularly. Always like to have updated wardrobe nothing designer or extravagant but a whole heap I can mix n match, dress up or dress down. I do it for me, makes me feel good not trying to impress anyone or be better than anyone. However in saying all that I’m currently sitting here in my flanny pjs and a messy high bun lol

This sounds high maintenance to me. No problem with that, just my opinion. If it makes you happy, do it 😊

I consider that high maintenance too. But in a positive way, I aspire to be like that

I think its medium maintenance, but not in an unkind way. The term high maintenance is usually used in a negative way, usually in order to put someone down or control them. So when we say high maintenance we mean as you have to make the effort to maintain the hair nails etc.

High maintenance is not necessarily about hair and nails

I'm OP of this reply and I agree, being high maintenance is not always about appearance, I said appearance wise because that seemed to be where this was flowing but... I was a at a dinner function recently and one woman was making the service staff run all over the place for her to get a different champagne they didn't serve at the inside bar, a better glass, another napkin etc etc etc. It was seriously bothering me and I must have been making a face because her husband said to my husband "You're lucky, I remember when my wife wasn't so high maintenance".. what he really meant was "I remember when my wife wasn't a raging, needy bitch". 😂

Nope I put myself last. No new clothes, no hair make up etc unless absolutely necessary. I pay my bills and am not a kept woman. Would I like to be high maintenence no. I think im a nice balance i dress up and look good when i want to and other days a hoodie and pants is great too.
