Same! It’s not nice for the kids knowing someone doesn’t like them either

Depends why you couldn’t stand his friends? 1. Because they talk non stop about boring subjects and don’t include you in conversations? Or 2. Make racist/sexist/homophobic comments and are just terrible people. 1. No, 2. Most definitely. The people you keep company with are a reflection on you.

Not exactly, I was dating someone and I just didn't click with his friends, I was bit of an outsider. I think they were close to his ex, and didn't want me in the group. I met someone else and part of the reason I stopped seeing the first man was his friends, but I didn't tell him that.

I would have told him that for his future reference.

Well if he is good friends with them and I thought they were really awful, I’d be asking myself why is he friends with them? It would count against his judgement in my opinion. I’d probably test the waters a bit - ‘hey, that joke X told tonight was quite sexist/racist....don’t you think?’ or whatever. His response would be how I judged him.
