How long after a c section can we start having sex again.

It’s been a looong time. Wasn’t feeling it during the pregnancy. Starting to get my drive back but don’t want to do any damage.
I’ve heard 6 weeks is standard

The recommended wait period is 6 weeks post partum IF you feel up to it. Go slowly and only go to your comfort level.
Personally, following my last section, I was ready to roll again after week 4. We took it very slowly and gently.
