Speaking from experience.
It’s not the my life flashed, but the highlight reel.
All the most important things.
And actually I had one memory that I saw my mother with me as a young child.
It’s hard to say how it goes because it all happening in a few seconds but it was like a 15 minute play list,

Yes only good memories.
I was about 12 and swimming alone in the rough ocean. I never should have gone swimming I was on holiday with my auntie and she let me go to the beach alone.
I went swimming and got swept in a rip and when I got in trouble it got really bad and I just ducked under a wave kind of feeling like that’s it.... then that “flash happened” I don’t remeber much after that I remeber praying I could see my parents again.
It went black then the next moment my feet touched sand and there was a break and I jumped up for air... I went under again and then I felt sand again and could stand up I was on a sandbank and got my wind back and the swim from the sand bank to sand was flat. When I got to the beach the rip had taken me about 200meters down beach and into a little rocky point I was surrounded by rocks when I landed on the bank.
Pretty heavy lol.
I’m a surfer and I’m still nervous around rocks. I can ignore it now though. And iv has flashbacks of it.
