Yes probably. I have foster children though who base how much people care about them on the material things they get. I guess it comes down to being with a new carer every 6-12 months all their childhood..who knows.

Thank you for all that you do for these kids, as a former foster child I know what it's like to be in the system and never having any stability

I feel most kids are spoilt and I'm not saying that to be controversial... Any kid who drives around in an air-conditioned car and doesn't walk to school in most conditions.. we give them painkillers from birth for teething etc.. I do think so. Manners aside most kids are spoilt because we are too tired to show them the reality. Just my opinion

Not gonna lie, they are spoilt.
‘If you can’t spoil your kids, who can you spoil?’
They are well mannered and well behaved, all 3 are high achievers at school and are productive members of our household.

Yes, they are spoilt they have everything they need but they will never be given everything they want. Coming from a very dysfunctional and abusive family I am proud that my kids will never suffer what I have been through so in my eyes I think they are spoilt but they are not spoilt brats

Oh most definitely. Our kids are 10 and 12 and have been overseas a few times, go to concerts and don't really want for anything. As someone said above if they were little shits they wouldn't get these things. Having said that they know how they live is not the norm and not to be expected. Over the next 18months they won't be getting as much as we're building a new house

If you can afford it then good on you. But wow 2500 on a party? I thought 500 one year which included a jumping castle was crazy, for us anyway. I'm sure your little girl appreciates it all though. There's no limit to what you 'should' do, just whatever is good for you

It depends what you mean by spoilt. They don’t go without, they have some nice things - but on the other hand, they have good manners, know the value of money and are happy to receive and pass on handmedowns.

ANSWER

Yes, because they are kind, smart and respectful.
If they were little shits, they wouldn’t be.

Moderately spoilt. Not in a completely over the top way, but they certainly don't go without. Lots of their toys and clothes are second hand though, which our eldest (4yo) understands. He loves visiting the op shops.
