Free childcare in nsw

I swear a few weeks ago there was an announcement saying there would be free child care in nsw until the end of term 4. I'm still paying every week and i've not heard anything about it since. What gives, does anyone have any info on this?

Government preschools are free in some other states permanently so nsw sucks anyway

It's weird but I just googled this. Ninemsn had the title 7days ago... But when you click on the article it is dated 5months ago. Something fishy, I imagine someone must have stuffed up!?

I’m sorry, sadly to be honest I was initially leaning that way(I’m not sure why, perhaps because I just couldn’t imagine it making sense). Then I saw your breaking news comment.. I definitely have heard anything of this but I’m in WA but yes there seems to be something to it if it is one of the first google results X Sorry on behalf of everyone!
